After working as an excavator, plumber, and firefighter/EMT, Jay started working in the O&P field in 2016. 

Jay was involved in a motor vehicle accident in 2007 which resulted in the loss of his left leg above the knee. When his first prosthetist showed him the process of making a prosthetic leg, he became very interested in the O&P field. He continued working in EMS while going to school to change careers.

Jay enjoys connecting with people and using his personal experience to help them get through a life changing event, like having an amputation.
